Requirements

  • Head: Quality anodized track with double bearing rollers
  • Finish: no architraves; square set (also called flush / squarestop)
  • Jamb: flush; no rebate
  • Reveal: 100mm reveal to allow user to pull exposed cavity slider pull handle
  • Door leaf: will be sourced locally.
  • Guide: Nylon in routed center groove in bottom of door leaf
  • Lever set: recessed pull handle with privacy function.
  • Features: self-closing (Raked Head) and soft-closing (SoftStop) to prevent crushed fingers.
    No need for dampened end-stop as there is cushioning inside the cavity (rubber stoppers on vertical jamb).

2132 high opening from concrete floor to horizontal stud
(2400 high concrete floor to ceiling)
90 wall framing studs
10mm plasterboard lining
25mm under door clearance to allow for floor tiles.

Add a stopper to have the door protrude a bit (‘reveal’ instead of ‘flush jamb’) to fit a recessed handle – this does not affect door panel width or frame size.

This will fit a standard size cavity slider 2040 x 820 x 90.
